In June 2025, Dr. Hunt gathered with Black and Jewish national leaders in higher education, business, philanthropy, public service, and professional sports, to participate in the inaugural Black Jewish Leadership Institute (BJLI). Cohort members included theologians, rabbis, psychologists, community builders, clergy, and educators. Distinguished guest speakers and lecturers included Dr. David A. Thomas, President of Morehouse, Dr. Yehuda Kurtzer of Shalom Hartman, Michael L. Lomax, PhD, president and CEO of the United Negro College Fund, Rabbi Marc Baker of Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, attorney and healing expert Dr. Melissa Wood Bartholomew, and legal scholar Dr. Musa Sagiv.
